After years of begging for a dog, my daughter finally got her wish. We picked out a small adorable puppy for her to care for (with parental supervision, of course). The puppy is happy, healthy, and full of energy.
He loves to run around and explore new scents and scenery. It was hard to get him to calm down in the evenings until I discovered how much he likes to be groomed. Now we have a routine where he crawls into my lap and I brush his coat using a bamboo dog brush. He must find it very soothing because after a few minutes his eyelids close and his tail starts thumping against my thigh.
